Because of the labor intensive process of making hand tufted rugs this carpeting can be very expensive. For tufted wools the iron should always be run on a temperature setting of 2 2 and make a slow seam. Wool is the most expensive fiber but is naturally stain resistant and flame retardant. Hand tufted wool carpet can be made in many beautiful shapes designs and colors. Tufted wools install differently then synthetic carpets from pad to the amount of stretch to be given to the product.

The amount of stretch on tufted wools is 1 in the width and 1 in the length depending on the room size. New radio wave technology seaming tools can also be used on wool carpet.
